As the return to school marches ever more quickly towards us, the numbers of parents seeking private maths tuition increases.
Fuelled, no doubt, by the uncertainty posed to pupils by yet another set of changes to the education system imposed by gouvernment, this leaves many parents with a big dilemma.
Do we wait until after Xmas, and chance that things will resolve themselves, or do we bring in a maths tutor from the beginning of September?
Booking figures would indicate that many are opting for the latter option, realising that late post Xmas bookings often end in disappointment. Tutors are either booked, or are left with insufficient time to make any marked impact upon the tutee's potential grades.
My advice to those considering using a tutor is simple. "Book early".
